Michael P. Hainsey (Mike)
Mike Hainsey, A.A.E., is the Executive Director at the Golden Triangle Regional Airport. He is a retired Air Force pilot and a former Assistant Professor of Aerospace Science for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds a commercial instrument pilot rating with over 5,500 hours in various aircraft. Hainsey is the past President of the Mississippi Airports Association and a former Commissioner on the Lowndes County Port Authority. He has served as the Director of Search and Rescue for the Mississippi Civil Air Patrol and is the Co-founder of Dreams On Wings, a charity that provides the thrill of flight for children battling serious illnesses. Hainsey is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds a master’s degree in business from Webster University in St Louis, Missouri.
Matthew Dowell (Matt)
Matt Dowell, A.A.E., is the Deputy Director of the Golden Triangle Regional Airport. Dowell received both his Bachelor of Commercial Aviation and Masters in Aviation Management from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. He is an Accredited Airport Executive with over 6 years of airport management experience. He is also an FAA licensed Flight Instructor and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle pilot. In addition, he volunteers with the local Civil Air Patrol.
